Johnson Sakaja won the Nairobi Governor’s race on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket. /Twitter.

NAIROBI, Kenya Aug 12 – Johnson Sakaja is the new Governor of Nairobi county defeating Polycarp Igathe.

Senator Sakaja was vying on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket while Igathe who is a corporate executive was running on a Jubilee ticket.
