CHEBUKATI ANNOUNCES VERIFIED PRESIDENTIAL RESULTS.

IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati has announced verified presidential results from 6 constituencies.

Chebukati commenced the announcement of the verified presidential results, as per records of Form 34Bs, yesterday and has so far released numbers from 12 constituencies.

In his latest media update, the electoral body chair released results from Gatundu South, Ndia, Yatta, Moiben, Nandi Hills and Ainabkoi constituencies.

Here is a breakdown of the results;

1. Gatundu South Constituency, Kiambu County results
   Registered voters – 79, 860 votes

Valid votes cast – 54, 536 votes

Rejected ballots – 475 votes

Raila – 12, 290 votes

Ruto – 41, 712 votes

Waihiga – 223 votes

Wajackoyah – 311 votes

2. Ndia Constituency, Kirinyaga County results
   Registered voters – 69, 743 votes

Valid votes cast – 48, 548 votes

Rejected ballots – 346 votes

Raila – 6, 872 votes

Ruto – 41, 293 votes

Waihiga – 151 votes

Wajackoyah – 232 votes

3. Yatta Constituency, Machakos County
   Registered voters – 82, 446 votes

Valid votes cast – 49, 062 votes

Rejected ballots – 402 votes

Raila – 38, 225 votes

Ruto – 10, 391 votes

Waihiga – 121 votes

Wajackoyah – 325 votes

4. Ainabkoi Constituency, Uasin Gishu County
