EXPLOSION ROCKS A POLITICAL CAMPAIGN AS PEOPLE SCAMPER TO SAFETY

The endorsement of Migori gubernatorial candidate Ochilo Ayako by the Suba council of elders was interrupted on saturday after an unidentified person lobbed teargas at the crowd at Kababu ground in Suna West sub county.

The incident happened when Ayako had just concluded his address after the coronation exercise led by Suba council of elders Japheth Riogi Riogi.

The meeting however continued a few minutes after the interruption.

Ayako condemned the act claiming it was sponsored by his competitor and called on police to probe the incident
