MARTHA KARUA HAS CAUSED THIS EFFECT IN MT KENYA

Nyeri senatorial aspirant Kabando Wa Kabando now says that the tide is changing in Mt Kenya region with regards to the heating presidential race.

The former Mukurweini MP says that ODM leader Raila Odinga is slowly taking over, and is overtaking Deputy President William Ruto of Kenya Kwanza.

The leader argues that while Ruto was the most supported leader initially, Raila is turning the tables thanks to the person he picked as his running mate.

For him, thanks to the picking of Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua, a daughter of the area, people and voters who initially secretly supported Raila also can now say it in gatherings without any fear.

“For now, for the first time, anyone in Central Kenya can pick a microphone and speak loudly in any gathering and say I will elect Raila,” the former parliamentarian said on Spice FM on Thursday.

Kabando, an ally of Karua and a member of Narc Kenya, is among the people who were initially opposed to Raila but have opted to work with him.

He said that so buoyed are those crossing over that they are now confidently bragging of his pending win over the DP, also a frontrunner in the race.

He promised Raila a good amount of votes in the region, saying that those who support him there will come out in their numbers to vote for him.

“The turnout of those who will support the Raila and Martha ticket within Central Kenya will be one hundred percent,” added the politician.

Raila’s winning chances might be boosted by the return of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, who rejoined Azimio La Umoja on Thursday and is thought to carry with him the Lower Eastern region vote.
