LIST OF GOVERNORS THAT WILL VIE UNDER UDA PARTY

At least 25 political aspirants seeking the Governor seats in the upcoming August General Election will contest on the Deputy President William Ruto-led UDA party ticket.

Some of the gubernatorial aspirants were handed direct nomination tickets while others clinched the tickets in highly contested nominations held on Thursday across the country.

UDA conducted gubernatorial nominations in 13 counties, senatorial nominations in 18 counties and Woman Representative contests in 28 counties. Nominations for parliamentary positions were scheduled to be held in 138 constituencies and MCA nominations in 834 wards.

Some of the primaries were however postponed due to chaos and logistical challenges. 

Here is the list of governor aspirants who are set to be handed United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party nomination tickets and the respective counties they will be contesting.
